Description:
A large castle set in the centre of Pontivy.
The castle was built by the Rohan family in 1485 to confirm the towns presence as the administrative and military stronghold in the area.
The castle has been restored in the last 50 years and has an impressive 90 m by 75 m fortress and 2 front towers. The castle walls are 20 m high and 5 m thick.
Every year the castle is home to different art and/or historic exhibitions.

Open 10.00am shut 12.00pm and open 2.00pm and shut 6.00pm - daily
July and August
Open 10.30am shut 7.00pm - daily
