Description:

Historic fort built in 1689 by the military architect Vauban to protect Saint Malo.

 

All visits to the fort need to be as part of the regular guided tour which lasts around 35 minutes.  The fort is only accessible by foot at low tide.

 

A special childrens guide is provided free of charge.

 

There are toilets at the fort and eating facilities are readily available within Saint Malo port.

 

 

Opening Times

 

The fort is open during school holidays and daily from 1st June to 30th September. 

 

Opening hours depend of tide times and so will change daily - the fort is open when the French flag is hoisted high above the fort!

Children (6 - 16 years) 3 €

 

Groups (10+) 4 € each
